Help for New Students
One of the major goals for All Nations Christian Fellowship is to provide help to international students when they first arrive at the U of M. Any help we provide is free unless otherwise specified. Because of our limited resources, these services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Airport Pick Ups and Temporary Housing
Few things are more scary than arriving at an airport in a foreign country where no friends or family are there to pick you up. Often, you have to arrange your own housing in this strange new place as well. That is why we provide this service for international students and scholars arriving to study at the University of Minnesota for the first time.
If you are a newcomer, we can arrange for someone to pick you up at the airport. We can also arrange temporary housing for one day up to one week in a friendly American's home while you find a regular place to rent and move into. This is our free act of friendship for you.
If you want to arrange for temporary housing or an airport pick-up, please let us know at least one week prior to your arrival in Minnesota. Please also provide us with your flight number, arrival information, and your gender.
